July 2017 Fishing Report:

Ok folks the heat is on as 90 degree temps are no uncommon. But it has not bothered the fish as we are doing w
very well on redfish and still catch a trout here and there. Had one last week that was 28 inches long. The flats are teaming with crabs and brown shrimp. Both are on the top of a redfish’s forage list. We had a couple days around the big moon where fish were laid up much of the day but we still managed a few fish. It’s time for the tarpon to be here but the wind has blown too hard. We will wait it out. Remember to practice CPR and so long until next time.

So until next time, remember to be a good steward to our resources and practice CPR.
